

Tedriq "Teddy" Jamar Hartwell , age 42, passed away on March 4, 2024, in Banning, California. He was born on February 13, 1982, also in Banning, California.
A service to honor and remember Tedriq will be held on April 17, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Miller Jones Mortuary, 1501 W. Florida, Hemet, CA.
Tedriq was a beloved father to his 7 children, Brian Miguel, Sammy Enriquez, Isac Enriquez, Arabelah Hartwell, Araelah Hartwell, Elijah Estrada, and Karma Hartwell. He was known for his comedic talents, being the "life of the party" with his raspy voice and humorous nicknames for everyone he knew. Tedriq had a caring heart with pure and limitless love. He enjoyed dressing well, wearing jewelry, and listening to music. His passion for his children was evident in the time he spent taking them to school and football practice.
In his career, Tedriq worked as a construction worker after graduating from Banning High School in 2000. He later explored barbering before finding his calling as a handyman. Tedriq's hobbies included various outdoor activities such as fishing and paintball.
In addition to his children, he is survived by his parents, Dwayne and Donna Lynn Jackson, grandmother Alice Roberts, brothers DeMario Jackson, Kye Roberts, and Al Harris, sisters Tarina Williams, Kiona Roberts, Tatiana Konnight, brother-in-law Eric Konnight, the mothers of his children Adel Miguel, Valerie Estrada-Lay, and Monica Horowitz. He was preceded in death by his older brother Gary Tate. He also leaves to mourn a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
