Terrill James Jostad

Terry J. Jostad, 64, of San Jacinto, CA passed away on Friday, February 15, 2013, at Loma Linda VA Hospital in Loma Linda, CA. Born Friday, March 26, 1948 in Fargo, ND, he was the son of late Maynard and Roseanne Jostad.

A proud veteran of our country, Terry served in the United States Air Force for more than 20 years. He served as a Postal Clerk. Always showing sincere patriotism, he loved our country and the freedom he believed in.

Terry loved living in California. He enjoyed going to amusement parks, zoos, and attending concerts. And as a proud resident of California, he was a tried and true Los Angeles Dodgers fan. He also loved music; Elvis, Styx, and Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons being among his favorites.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Anne-Lise (Bjorn Railton) Jostad; brother, Allen (Jackie) Jostad; sisters, Barbara (Dennis) Fornoth and Beverly (John) Catone; and grandchildren, Isabelle Jostad and Alexander Jostad Alne whom he adored.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Miller-Jones Mortuary, Hemet, CA with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will take place at 2:15 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA that afternoon.
