

Vern Miller passed away on March 8, 2015 at the age of 89. He is survived by Marilyn, his wife of 42 years, his sons Curtis, Jerry and Cliff, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sons Jon, Craig and Cory and sister, Lora Bourette.
Vern was a distinguished World War II veteran of the Army of the United States and Bronze Star Medal recipient.
During his 58 year membership in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Long Beach Lodge #888 and Hemet Lodge #1741, he worked to raise funds for numerous charitable projects that supported veterans and children. A viewing will be held on Monday, March 30 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 1501 W. Florida Ave. Hemet, CA 92543. A memorial service will also be held at the Miller-Jones Mortuary on Tuesday , March 31 at 10:00am. Internment will follow the service at Riverside National Cemetery at 12:15pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
