Victor Maurice Wilson

Victor Maurice Wilson was born January 16, 1967 in Compton, California to the parents of Roosevelt and Estella Wilson. Victor was the second of three sons. He grew up in Compton, CA; he was very active in sports from elementary through high school. Victor attended Ralph Waldo Emerson Elementary School and Benjamin O Davis Middle School in Compton, CA. He attended David Starr Jordan High School in Long Beach, California, where he played on the flag football, basketball and varsity football teams.

Victor was introduced to the Lord at an early age. His first church home was Zion Baptist Evangelistic Temple under the leadership of Dr. C. Albert Henson. In his youth Victor was a dedicated and devoted member in Sunday school and in the C. Henson Church Children's Choir. As he grew in age he advanced to singing in the youth choir. Victor later united with Cross Word Christian Church under the leadership of Bishop L. Kirk Sykes where Victor served in many ministries and was as an active member until the Lord called him "home".

Victor was a loving, but quiet young man. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army where he received an honorable discharge. After serving in the Army, Victor decided to further his education at Long Beach City College where he obtained an Associate of Science degree in Radiology Technology. Victor worked as a Radiology Technologist for 26 years.

Victor moved to the Inland Empire in 1998 where he purchased his first home in Moreno Valley, CA. Soon after, he was introduced to Twanisha "Tee" Robinson, the love of his life. Victor said he knew Twanisha was the one for him. Victor and Twanisha wed August 6, 2004, and to this union one child was born.

Victor was a kind and caring man who loved the Lord. He was a loving husband, and devoted father who loved his family with all of his heart.

Victor leaves behind to cherish is memories, the love of his life, his wife Twanisha Wilson, his two daughters, Imara Victoria Wilson, Lavaughnna Aszure Mcleod, his loving parents Roosevelt and Estella Wilson, God Parents, Charles and Carrie Ashley, two brothers, Keith Wilson (Kenya), Derick Wilson (Latonia), his cousins who were close to him like siblings , Gregory Ashley, Kenny Ashley, Kendall Ashley, Sherry Vanessa Williams, Gary Purifoy, David Purifoy; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
