Hey Vince. It’s taken me this long to find your memorial page. I miss you. Even the days I’d run into you at Belmont Shore or even when you’d stop by real quick when Auntie Norma and me used to grab lunch all the time. Say hi to my dad for me up there. I wonder if our dads are hanging out up there with you. Must be a great time. You were always family to us. Blessed Be and know you are loved down here on earth. You are never forgotten. My dearest friend Vincent
When I first heard of your passing on October 31st, everything just stood still for a few days. My immediate reaction was to try to call you, email you or find you because I did not want to believe that you were gone.
I lit a candle for you in my room before bed an said a prayer for you. I did not get much sleep that night as I watched the candle burn down. After a long day of trying to hold back the tears, I was finally able to let them out.
The one thing I wanted the most was to be able to give you the biggest hug and tell you that I love you and that I was sorry.
Vincent I know you were there with me at that very moment; thank you, I know that was your way of showing me that you acknowledged my prayer and my love for you.

I will never forget our good times together when we were young, I was 14 or 15 and you were 17 or 18. You drove a VW bug. My heart would race when I heard it coming down my street, and I would listen when you left until I couldn't hear it anymore.

As we got older we always kept in touch, you were the only person who could make me laugh hysterically with tears JUST by looking at me. Even though the jokes were usually on me, I knew you were only trying to make me laugh (even when it wasn't the time or place)

Some of the things that stand out in my mind that he did to make me laugh were :

At a restaurant in front of people he would look down at my feet and say OMG when was the last time you got a pedicure woman!!?

In public or restaurant he would pretend to pick his nose then flick it at me ! (something I admit passing onto my kids)

Again in public somewhere or restaurant as I would be talking to him having a normal conversation, all of the sudden Vincent would interrupt me and say "NOW PIPE DOWN WOMAN"!!! all loud so everyone stops to look at us, then when he couldn't hold back anymore he would start crackin up.

Instead of calling me baby he would say "beh- beh"!

He always offered me a dollar to take the bus even though he knew I had a car... (and he would always ask if it was stolen or if I had insurance)

And the list goes on and on and on..

Vincent you were an amazing person and you lived for helping others. You will forever be in my heart and prayers.
I hope that your family gets through the grieving process and is able to be happy knowing that you are and will always be here in spirit, making us laugh just like you always did. May you rest in peace and visit us often.

Hey Vince, I'm so sorry this happened to you. I was so shocked when I found this out. I too met Vince working at L.A. Prep back in 98. I remember the times we would hang out outside of work. I remember one time me, you and Ben went to the Mayan and King Taco and we didn't get home till 5:30 in the morning. I don't even remember what we were doing till 5:30 in the morning but all I know was we made it home safe. I remember the last time I saw you in 2010,you came into my dealership and said "Who needs their lift fixed?" I looked up and their you were. I hadn't seen you in 7 years. Even though that was the last time I seen or heard from you, I'm glad I did.

The good old days
My favorite memory is when I was in 6th grade and I came to stay with Nanny and Papa during the summer. My brother, Vincent, David, and myself would sit in their bedroom and watch WWF wrestling. We hung out in the backyard around the pool listening to Power 106. The boys also introduced me to Chris and Pitt's chili cheese fries. Papa would always pick up the order and bring it home to us. We would dance around for at least 30 minutes before we were aloud to get into the pool. I remember how cool we all thought we were! I'm so sorry for your loss, and I pray that God will help ease your pain. Love you! xoxo

My Best Friend
I met Vince in 1999 while working for L.A. Prep Inc. We instantly gravitated towards each other. We always got along. I believe because we both took our job seriously. Vince always knew he could count on me to get the job done.

In 2001 I left L.A. Prep Inc., but Vince and I kept in touch. We rarely saw each other, but we stayed in touch either by email or by phone. Vince knew he could count on me to make him laugh. Always wanted me to tell him the same stories. I loved hearing him laugh.

Years ago, my mom came to visit. At the time I was living in San Diego. I went to the airport to pick her up, but she wasn't there. She called me and said she was at the airport. Well, we soon found out that she was at LAX, not San Diego. I didn't know what to do. I called Vince and asked him if he could please pick up my mom from the airport, so that she wouldn't have to sit there alone while I made my way up. Without hesitation Vince said yes. He picked up my mom and took her out to eat. I tried to pay him, but he wouldn't accept. He got upset that I had even brought it up.

This past year Vince let me stay with him for over 3 months. I had recently returned from Nebraska and needed a place to stay. When I asked him for help, he didn't even hesitate in saying yes. He even went as far as to cook for me at times(he knew his way around that George Forman Grill).

I could go on and on with stories. Vince was a great guy and I'm going to really miss him.
