

Wade Lee Buckhorn entered into this life on February 8, 1949, He was born in (The Windy City) Chicago Illinois. Growing up he had two older brothers that would ride him around in a little wagon, but if they were to get in trouble, they would lay all the blame on him because he was the youngest and least likely to get in trouble. Wade grew quickly and after finishing school, he joined the National Guard and was later trained for combat fortunately didn't see battle. Wade eventually made his way to California where he would meet the girl of his dreams, Helen Gomez. They would soon marry and settle down and start a family. A hard-working, dependable man who had a knack for good story-telling and the spirit of a great comedian. Wade worked for a while with construction scaffolding but never would have thought that his dream job would be as a tow truck driver. His love for towing came second only to his love for his family and friends. Wade loved towing so much that while his wife, Helen, was at a bingo party he came and towed her car away just for the fun of it. Off the job his regular attire of choice would be a cowboy hat & boots. Being a tough tow truck driver and a romantic, Wade's TV show were Dog the Bounty Hunter and The Young and The Restless. Wade will be forever missed by all who were fortune enough know him.
