William "Bill" Burns, 78 of Moreno Valley, California was born Sunday, July 24, 1932 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Martin and Katherine Burns. Bill served in the US Air Force for 22 years. He and his wife were restaurant owners in Highland for many years. He was a founding member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus and VFW Post 8547. Bill's pastimes included golfing and cheering on the Norte Dame Football team, "Fight Fight Fight". On Thursday, January 20, 2011, Bill passed away. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy. He is survived by his daughters, Debbie, Kathy, Theresa, Michelle and Laura; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; 2 siblings and many other family members and friends. A visitation will held on Monday, January 24, 2011 at Miller-Jones Moreno Valley from 1:00pm -5:00pm with a 3:00pm Rosary Service. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the St. Patrick's Catholic Church Building fund.
