Willie David Brown, 92 of Hemet, California passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017. He was born on Tuesday, December 23, 1924 in Pritchand, Mississippi to the late Joe and Ruth Brown. Willie is survived by his wife, Robin Brown; six daughters, Mildred, Roselyn, Ruby, Beverly, Theresa and Felicia; three sons, Willie Jr., Jethro and Charles; 15 grand children; 4 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren. Willie was preceded in death by two sons, Anthony and Lawrence.
Willie served honorably in the US Army in the 1950s. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
God saw him getting tired,
and a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around him
and whispered "Come to Me."
With tearful eyes we watched him suffer,
and saw him slowly fade away.
Although we loved him dearly,
we could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands put to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
