Alice Ann Medley, age 93, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023. Alice was born in Sioux Rapids, Iowa. She was the daughter of Allen and Thelma Quail. She moved to San Francisco in 1943. She was very excited to move to the big city.
She was in the Acapella choir when she was in school. They won the state championship one year. She had a beautiful singing voice. She worked for the Psychological Counseling Center at San Jose State University as a secretary/ receptionist for 16 years. She worked at the front desk and was the perfect person for that position with her welcoming smile and non judgemental attitude.
She moved to Nevada in 1982 with her second husband, Richard Medley. They were married for 35 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Richard Arthur Medley, son; Edward Allen Hicks and her sister; Irene.
She is survived by her daughter; Patricia Ann Hicks and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed.
