Born in Bridgeport, CT, the daughter of the late Anna (DeSimone) Schiavone and Antonio Schiavone, Ms. Spero lived in Warwick, RI for over 17 years. Ms. Spero was a pen assembler for the A.T. Cross Co., Lincoln, RI for over 15 years. Anna was a feisty lady, fiercely independent and an avid classic movie lover. She had a kind and gentle spirit and will be dearly missed.
Anna leaves 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was the devoted mother of Jean Fascitelli, Anthony T. Spero and his wife Marie, John Spero and his wife, Patricia, and David Spero. As the last survivor of 4 children, she now joins her sister, Antoinette (Etta) Mollicone and her brothers, Joseph and Albert Schiavone.
A memorial service will be held in the spring in Rhode Island and an announcement will be made at that time.
