She was the eldest sister of Linda Mae Greene ( deceased) and Verna Marie Gove currently residing in Henderson, Nevada. Arlene was married at the age of 16 years old to Ronald Clarence Page in Gardena, California on June 5, 1956. Together they were blessed with 7 children, five boys and two girls:Ronald Mark Page, Marty Lee Page, Veronica Dawn Page, Michael Lynn Page, Rory Kevin Page, Darlene Denice Cole, and Pepper Vernon Page. Arlene lost her soul mate Ronald on October 7, 2005 after 49 1/2 years of marriage. She is survived by one sister Verna and two children Darlene and Pepper, but also has two grandchildren Cody Dale Cole and Lance Ray Cole and one great grandson Connor Ray Cole. Arlene enjoyed her life as a mother and grandmother, in her heart there was nothing better to fill her soul than family and the love they shared. She was a hard working woman for 28 years as a slot hostess and enjoyed being around the public and making new friends throughout the years and considered that her social life and didn't want to retire at the age of 72 years old, but health wise had no choice. Friends would make it a point to come in daily young and old just to visit with her while she worked because she made them smile, gave them advice and helped them in anyway possible if they needed it. She cared about the homeless and would offer them food or clothes and her and Ronald even offered their home at times to help them out until they got back on their feet. She took in homeless animals at times and would have taken them all in if she could have as well. She donated her time and her money for causes such as animals, the homeless, heart and cancer patients and the veterans. Arlene would make Easter baskets for children and drop them off at donation centers. She enjoyed so many hobbies such as crocheting, pretty punch, painting, making candles and ceramic figurines and growing flowers. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family playing poker, watching football ( San Francisco 49ers) and the holidays at her daughters house with the entire family there. She was very proud of her grandchildren Cody and Lance and her great grandson Connor Ray. What a blessing she was able to see three generations grow up before her eyes with all the changes in the world through each one. The Lord blessed us all with her ray of sunshine each day and smiles for 74 years and we will miss her very much, but now she is still watching over us all from above.
