Barbara Ann Wheeler

Barbara was born on August 11, 1934 in East St. Louis, IL to her parents, Walter and Mabel Miller. She had two brothers, Walter Jr. (Dee) and George. She married Stanley Wheeler in 1953. The Wheelers moved to Southern Nevada when Stanley worked in the Federal Government as an ATF agent. Barbara worked may positions the most notable as a police dispatcher for the Boulder City Police Department.

Barbara has been a den mother for Cub Scouts, a volunteer for the Boulder City Senior Center and participated in many St. Andrews ministries.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Michael and Raymond; daughter, Susan, her daughter-in-law, Morie, grandchildren, Micah, Spenser, Timothy, Maureen and Devon and great grandchildren, Lilly Ann and Jacob. She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley and son, Stephen.

Barbara will have services, Saturday, August 6, 2016. Viewing will be at 10:00 am and Mass will follow immediately at 11:00 am at St. Andrews Church, located at 1399 San Felipe Drive and will be buried in a private ceremony, on August 15, 2016 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV.
