Charles O. Swift of Henderson, Nevada passed away March 17th, 2016. He was born in Streator Illinois May 30th, 1922. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Janis Swift for over 60 years. His parents Elwood and Sue (Nichols) Swift and step mother Margaret Swift, brother Elwood Swift Jr, sister Betty Noonan and half sister Nancy Wertsbaugh. Charles was survived by his son Chuck Swift (Andria), grandson Randy and grand daughter Jamie (Deryl) and half sister Mary McCullough.
Charles joined the US Army Air Corps in 1941. He was a Radio Gunner on a B-25 Bomber. He was also a Painter in the Painters Union for over 69 years. He was a very avid bowler and served on S.N.B.A as VP and Director for over 30 years. The "Die Hard" was still bowling at 88 years old. He finally had a 299 game at 83 years old. He always said " He had a great life-and had no regrets." Services will be private.
