and Lu Boyer. Clark was the youngest of their four children. Clark married his highschool
sweetheart, Teena (Christina) Sladich, on March 21, 1981, during spring break in Missoula,
Montana. Their family started quickly with the birth of their first daughter, Brooke Annette and
continued to grow with their second daughter, Bree Anne, and was completed with the birth of
their third daughter, Britt Allison. Clark was so proud to have 3 beautiful, strong willed daughters
and many had the pleasure of listening to his non-stop bragging about them. To this day he
would relive endless softball stories that were a great part of his family.
Clark attended Lincoln Elementary School, Anaconda Junior High School and graduated from
Anaconda Senior High School with the class of 1980. Clark loved sports. He excelled in football
from elementary school through high school. He also loved his days spent playing American
Legion baseball. These past couple years he spent his time working on his golf game. He also
loved sports betting and claimed that March Madness was the best time of the year. His
competitive spirit carried through to his daughters and grandchildren!
After graduating from the University of Montana with a business degree, and a few years of
employment in Butte, Clark and his family packed up and moved to Huntington Beach,
California. He started working at the ARCO refinery in Carson, CA and remained there until his
retirement in 2018. He loved his work there and made many close friends. For anyone that
would listen, he would tell his endless stories about the refining process and the
making/blending of our gasoline. Clark prided himself in providing financial advice to his family,
friends or complete strangers on the importance of saving for the future. His strong
understanding and interest in finances allowed him to start an early retirement life with his 3
daughters and their families in Henderson, Nevada, where he resided at the time of his death.
Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Lu Boyer, his mother-in-law, MaryAnne
Sladich and his nephew Wayne Boyer. He was also devastated to lose his 2 dogs, Duncan and
Ellie earlier this year.
Clark is survived by Teena, his wife of 40 years, and his 3 daughters and their families; Brooke
and Jeff Miller, granddaughter, Reghan and grandson, Cayson; Bree and Todd Cairney,
grandsons, Shane and Jackson, and granddaughter Quinn; Britt and Dallas Reed,
granddaughters Charlee and Stevee. He is also survived by his brother Dennis Boyer and his
family, his brother and sister-in-law Ken and Connie Boyer and family, his sister Deb and Ken
Parks and family, sister-in-law, MaryAnne and Reggie Lantz, brother-in-law Larry Sladich and
family and his father-in-law, Lawrence Sladich.
