Corazon Marzan Clark

Corazon Marzan Clark, age 79, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020. She was born on June 1, 1941 in Naguilan La Union, Philippines to her parents Marcelino P. Marzan and Narcisa Banay. Corazon was raised in La Union, Philippines with her three younger brothers: Florencio, Ricardo, and Jaime. Like any other child growing up, she was constantly involved in activities with her siblings, and spending time with her friends and family.

Corazon was a loving mother and grandmother, who truly loved spending time with her family; they were the center of her life. She blessed with three daughters: Prescila, Aida, and Marilyn; and six grandchildren, Abigail, Lorenz, Brian, Angela, Tyler, and Aaliyah. She worked very hard to support their every need as a seamstress, housekeeper and cook. In her free time she liked to knit and sew and sew. Corazon was content to enjoy her hobbies alone but was also willing to share her interests with others.

Religion and faith were important to Corazon. She held dear the faith and values she derived from her beliefs. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Henderson for over 20 years. During that time, she was involved in the Ladies Luncheon program.

Corazon was also a lover of animals and cherished her pets. One of Corazon’s favorites was Izzy Bo, a Shih Tzu; they were best friends for 9 years. Her family was rounded out by her pigs, chickens, and ducks.

Corazon was the type of person who would show others her feelings through her actions. She was practical and realistic but was able to be flexible when the need arose. She had a curiosity about the things around her and tried to experience life directly rather than sit back and talk about it. The experiences she treasured most were those she shared with her loved ones. Corazon Marzan Clark will be greatly missed.

Corazon was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children: Prescila O'Donnell and her husband, Peter; Aida and Marilyn Licuanan; brothers Florencio Marzan and his wife, Ampy; Ricardo and his wife, Naty; and Jaime and his wife, Paz; and six grandchildren: Abigail Pabst, Lorenz O'Donnell, Brian O'Donnell, Angela Lococo, Tyler Lococo, and Aaliyah George.

Memorial services for Corazon will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. She will be laid to rest at Palm Henderson Cemetery, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015.

Due to Covid-19, government restrictions will be in place and all guests will be required to wear a mask.
