David Woodrow Adams

Dave was born January 5, 1962 to Charles and Jane Adams of Mars, PA. In 1964, when Dave was only 2 years old, his family moved to Southern California and set their home in La Puente, California where Dave grew up. Dave played many sports in school and met many of his life-long friends including Mike Rodriguez and Ignacio (Nacho) Cervantes. Dave’s interest turned to rock music in his mid-teens. As a self-taught left-handed guitar player, he started a band with his good friend Mario (Ace) Navarro called “Sidekick” and Dave played lead guitar. Sidekick played festivals, fairs, bars, nightclubs, private parties and many other venues in the San Gabriel Valley. Being in a band has many perks, and chicks are one, and that is where he met Chris. Dave was soon introduced to the construction industry. Dave and Chris lived in southern California before moving to the Las Vegas area in the '90s to take advantage of the economic boom. They quickly settled into their home in Henderson which they shared with their many adored pets. Currently, the happy brood includes canines Skewder, Panna, and Maddie and felines Manny, Mo, and Jaclyn. The happy fur kids loved their Dave and Chris (usually). Dave loved to hang out with friends and relatives and attended parties, dinners, card games and many concerts in Las Vegas.

As the years went by, Dave was promoted to a Construction Superintendent. He had many construction contact friends throughout the Las Vegas Valley and was very well like by many due to his jovial nature and dedication to his projects. Dave worked out of town periodically. He was on a job in the Dallas area when he passed unexpectedly. He is survived by his wife Christine Schaefer and his mother Jane Hammond Adams.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Palm Henderson Mortuary (800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV, 89015). Funeral service will follow immediately. A Celebration of Life Reception hosted by his widow following the funeral service at Winchell’s Pub & Grill (10620 S. Eastern Avenue Henderson, NV 89052).
