Diane Maude Booker

Diane M. Booker Diane M. Booker, 74, passed away Dec. 13, 2014 due to complications related to Parkinson's disease. She was born in Los Angeles, Ca on Oct. 16, 1940 to Vera V. and Wilford Lawson. Diane attended several LA area schools before leaving to become a homemaker. In 1963, she met and married Chuck Booker with whom she would spend the rest of her life with. They were marreid for nearly 50 years. She lived in several states where Chuck's Naval career took them. Retirement brought a relocation to her permanent home in Nevada, where she worked until disabled by an auto accident. In 1988, they moved to Henderson where she lived until her passing. She was the driving force behind the River Mountain Ranch Estates HOA. Diane held every office at one time or another, including President, a title she carried several years until she was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Diane was proceeded in death by her parents, three step-brothers and one step-sister. She is survived by her devoted husband Charles, nieces, Karen Reolle of Wilder, Idaho, Barbara Apodaca of Los Angeles, Ca, and Lorilee Snelling of Los Angeles, Ca, and her faithful German Shepard, Queenie Too. There will be no funeral services. A memorial celebration of her life will be held in April 2015.
