Digna Zambrana

Digna Zambrana, age 87, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024. She was born on September 29, 1937 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to her parents Rafael and Julia Martinez. Digna was raised in Puerto Rico with her six siblings. In 1953, during her High School years, Digna would meet the love of her life, Rolando. Together they would spend endless amount of time doing crazy fun things together to include sneaking out to a friend’s house just to meet up. Digna would finish her schooling in Puerto Rico.

After High School, Digna would marry Rolando on June 27, 1958 at Parroquia de Nuestra Senora de la Merced, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Together they would embark on a journey that would span over the next 65 years. They began their Journey by relocating to California. in April of 1960, Digna and Rolando would be blessed with their first child, Rolando Jr. Four years later, the couple would again be blessed with the birth of their daughter, Marcia. As their families continued to grow, Digna and Rolando would be blessed with two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Digna was a beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother and Great grandmother who devoted her whole life to caring for her home, her faith, and her family. She was the true matriarch, whom will always be loved and never forgotten.

Digna is survived by her husband of 65 years, Rolando Sr; two children: Rolando Jr; and his wife, Becky; and Marcia; two grandchildren: Christina and Rolando III; and two great grandchildren: Olivia and Mia.

A graveside service for Digna will be held Monday, December 9, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at External Service Location, 800 S Boulder Hwy, Henderson, NV 89015.
