Eileen Hardy

Eileen Hardy, age 79, of Las Vegas, celebrated her birthday at home with her Lord on Friday, October 1, 2021. She was born October 1, 1942 in Evansville, Indiana to Forrest Edward Wilkinson and Malissa (Roberts) Wilkinson. She was a 28 year resident of Las Vegas.

Eileen was a house cleaner / business owner for most of her career. She loved the trips that she and Mike took to Hawaii, the cruise around the Hawaiian islands, the cruise to Alaska, and trips to the New England States in the fall; but her first love was her husband and family. Most of her cherished memories were times spent with the family, especially at Christmas. Eileen was a fabulous cook and she loved to share goodies with her family during the holidays. For years and years, Eileen and Mike were avid baseball fans and bowlers. When she started having knee problems, she became Mike's cheerleader on the bowling tours.

Eileen was thrifty, honest, caring, giving, devoted, kind-hearted, and a woman of integrity. A beautiful soul who loved God and family and whose family adored her. She will be greatly missed for her sweet, sweet spirit and the impact she made in all the lives she touched.

Eileen is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Michael; son, Greg Raines; daughters: Karen (Rick) Swenson, Kimberly Raines, and Sherry (Todd) Baker; daughters-in-law: Shanda Hardy and Tammy Raines; sisters: Leah Feit, and Helen Galin; brother, Gene (Lorraine) Wilkinson; 12 grandchildren: Melissa, Lindsay, Lee, Valerie, Jessica, Eric, Christian, Cameron, Robert, Vanessa, Nicole, and Marcy; and ten+ great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Forrest and Malissa Wilkinson, Frank and Bettie Hardy (In-Laws), son: Michael Hardy Jr., daughter-in-law: Bridget Raines, and followed recently in death (10/12/21) by her son: John Raines.

A visitation for Eileen will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, both at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Eileen will be laid to rest at Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
