
George P. Beck of Las Vegas, NV, passed away suddenly on June 3, 2017. Born February 18, 1947, he was 70 years of age. Originally from Los Angeles, he moved to the Chicago area as a teenager. George proudly served as a SGT in the USAF as an Air Traffic Controller at Campion Air Force station, Galena, Alaska. Serving as a member of the Aerospace Defense Command, The North American Aerospace Defense Command, and The Alaskan Air Command. He then had a very long and successful career at Baxter International. A worldwide healthcare corporation, retiring as Telecommunications Manager at corporate headquarters in Deerfield, IL. He is survived by his wife Patricia A. Beck (nee Petroselli), a brother Phillip J. Beck a prominent artist in Scottsdale, Arizona, Phillip’s wife Marty and their children. Devoted brother-in-law and sister-in-law Joseph M. Petroselli and Hedwig M. Petroselli. Loving aunts Rita Giddings and Helene Thompson. As well as many dear friends across the country. He is preceded in death by his parents Casper P. Beck and Mildred M. Beck (nee Wellington). Services will be held at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Boulder City, NV at 10:30am on Wednesday June 21st, 2017 He will be interred at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, NV.
