

Longtime Las Vegas attorney George Frame, 85, passed away in Henderson, NV on January 9, 2022. George was born on April 14, 1936, in West Virginia. He graduated from Clendenin High School. George began law school at Mercer University/Walter F. George School of Law in Georgia. He then decided to serve his country and joined the Army and served in the Army Security Agency in Germany receiving an honorable discharge 1963. George then moved to Las Vegas and worked for the Las Vegas Police Department. Thereafter he returned to Georgia and, in 1967, he graduated from Mercer University/Walter F. George School of Law in Georgia. Following all of this, George was admitted to practice in The United States District Court, District of Nevada, Nevada Supreme Court, and the United States Supreme Court. He worked Clark Co. as a Deputy Public Defender and Chief Deputy District Attorney and in 1972 opened his own law office and entered private practice. George also went into a partnership with his brother Joe of WV and Lynn Leany of Las Vegas and purchased 52 oil and gas wells in 5 counties in West Virginia. They produced and sold oil and natural gas for 34 years. George was a licensed private aircraft pilot and enjoyed classic aircraft He was a certified diver, enjoyed target shooting with rifles and other weapons, was an owner and restorer of classic vehicles, and spent a period of years in Baja Mexico in a coastal home he owned on the ocean. He visited many countries and tropical islands with friends and family for several years. He enjoyed working and hanging out with friends in his shop. George is survived by his wife Nancy Frame, his children - Michael Frame (Ann) of Las Vegas, NV; Michelle Haney and Kim Alverson (Todd) of Henderson, NV. Grandchildren - Cory and Daniel; Amerah; Carson and Christian; 3 great granddaughters; and his nephew - Thomas Frame, nieces Terry Keeling (Randy), and Lisa Frame; and many other nieces and nephews residing in WV. George will be dearly missed by many.
Visitation will be February 3, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary
Burial will be at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery February 4th at 8 AM where a Missing Man Fly Over will occur.
In Honor of George there will be a Celebration of Life Saturday, February 5th, at 12:00 PM. At 414 Groft Way, Henderson, NV.
