Gerald Franklin Junior 75, of Chicago, IL passed away December 10, 2013. He was born August 6, 1938 in Miller City, Illinois. He moved to Chicago as a young boy. After 30 years of service he retired from the Chicago Park District. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents Velma Bates and Jasper Junior and his sister; Carolyn Brown, Brothers; Donald Lee and Carl Junior. Gerald leaves to cherish his memory Georgina "Cookie" Junior his wife of 39 years, his children; Ricardo Junior, Antonio Junior, Vida Junior and his step children; William Smith, Kelli Smith, Kirkland Smith; his sisters; Yvonne D. Smith, Zelphia J. Junior -Johnson, and Brothers; Lowell B. Junior and Archie W. Bates and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. He retired and moved to Las Vegas, NV for the last 12 years.
