Janice Marie Holloway

Janice Marie Holloway (Francis) of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the age of 74, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 14, 1950, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Janice met and married Thomas M. Holloway on June 25, 1971. They raised 2 children, Thomas and Tracy. She was a devoted wife, mother, and later grandmother who was always there to offer guidance, love, and support. She also loved baking and cooking for her family.

Janice had many jobs in her life. She worked many years in the dry cleaning business in Wisconsin, Al Phillips the Cleaner in Nevada, and Carters Cleaners in 29 Palms, California. Janice was also a caregiver and CNA in Las Vegas, Nevada and 29 Palms California.

Janice enjoyed bingo and playing the poker machines. Many weekends were spent playing bingo with her sister Pat or playing the poker machines with her ex-husband or friends.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents; Henry and Ellen Francis, as well as, a brother, Richard Francis; sister, Patricia Martinez; and ex-husband, Thomas M. Holloway. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Christine) D. Holloway and Tracy (Michael) Barron; brothers: Michael (Edwina) Francis, Robert Francis and Gerald (Marie Alyce) Francis; and her grandchildren: Connor Barron, Allie Barron, and Kassandra Holloway.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Location to be announced after RSVP.
