John Howard Wilcox

John Howard Wilcox, age 76, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Elroy, Wisconsin on March 28, 1945 to Harley and Emma Kate (Cox) Wilcox. Johnny graduated from Elroy High School in 1963, and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Johnny served honorably in the U.S. Navy as a Brown River Rat for two tours near the DMZ from 1966-1967 and 1967-1968, where he was stationed off the coast of Vietnam.

Johnny attended Orange Coast College where he received his license as an aircraft mechanic and welder. He spent the next 30 years working for Flying Tigers Air Freight Company which was bought by Federal Express as a senior aircraft mechanic.

Johnny was known for his infectious smile and crazy sense of humor. He will truly be missed

He is survived by his wife, son, daughter, two grandsons, son-in-law, a very special sister, cousins, nieces and nephews.
