Joe Mizzi of Tonopah, Nevada, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2016. He was surrounded by loved ones during his final days. Joe was born in the Bronx, New York on March 31, 1957 to parents Bernice and Robert Mizzi. He grew up in Oxnard, California enjoying much of his time in the sun and on the beach. Joe spent most of his adult life in Las Vegas, Nevada and Tonopah, Nevada where he was the longtime manager of the Clown Motel.
Joe had a great sense of humor and was loved by many. He was a wonderful and proud father of daughters, Kathrine and Jenny.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bernice Mizzi, and brother Robert Mizzi.
He is survived by his daughters Kathrine Mizzi and Jennifer Mizzi, sister Barbara Boucher and brother Dennis Mizzi.
He will be greatly missed.
A memorial will be held on June 4, 2016 @ 11:00 am at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary & Cemetery, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, Nevada 89015.
