Julie Kay Barlow, 66 of Henderson passed away March 23, 2021. Julie was born on August 1, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Naomi and Jerry Tisue. A Nevada resident since 1965, she graduated from Valley High School in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Julie retired from the City of Henderson in 2011. Her career started in Utility Services as one of the first female Meter Services Specialists reading and maintaining water meters and then moved to the Municipal Court as a Court Support Specialist until retirement. Julie is remembered as a loving mother, daughter and sister. She had a passion for helping people in need and made weekly trips to Panera Bread to provide food for families. She enjoyed refinishing furniture, making jewelry, and collecting many different treasures.
Julie is survived by her daughter Amy Shuey, step son Jon Bergner, Mother Naomi Tisue, sisters Beth Runkle (Ron), Jeri Carson (Angelo) and Kristie Gerard (Russ), her nephews and nieces Cody, Dalton and Hailey Carson, Kyle Runkle, Elisabeth and Jerry Gerard.
