Hello My Dear Friend,

It's Thanksgiving today.  I have made dishes and set my table with your silverware and my Mom's dinner plates.  I wish you all in HEAVEN a happy feast with friendship, love and happiness.  As we sit to enjoy our meal we are very blessed for all those celebrating above and thank you for your blessings and shining down on us this sunny day.  Sending lots of hugs and kisses.

Hi Natalie!  Finally stopped by your little spot today, spent a moment with you (brought Bugsy and Suki along too, but they stayed nearby in the car.   Maybe next time I'll bring them to you.) Placed a little heart-shaped rock down, as well as a GBP flag-know how much you loved watching them play.  :) I got the smallest size one I could find but it still seems a tad big-hope that you don't mind that it's a little conspicuous!  :). I know you liked your quiet, but atleast for the time being, I wanted to basically let the visitors know, as well as your now-neighbors, what a wonderful friend and neighbor you had been to me.  So much more than a plaque-

Even though we no longer live next door to each other, I will always keep you close and come visit-nice thing is, you're not too much further down the road.  Still sad, but glad you're back by your husband's side at last.  Love and miss you-

I went to view your name plate - I love you and miss you

Natalie- we were neighbors for 9 years, and I was always thankful how blessed I was to have lived next door to you.  How can words convey what and who you to me?  Kind, easygoing, smart, funny.  You were in some ways the grandmother I never had, yet still being a true friend, someone I could genuinely hang out with and talk to.  I'm ashamed to admit I've been reluctant to get to know the new neighbor who moved into your home, bc then the reality of you being gone-would be too much for me.  Just knowing you were there comforted me.

I will carry you in my heart always, and aspire to be the kind of person you were.  Dignified, caring, sharp to the end.  I wish we could have said goodbye, but this is all I have.  I am still in disbelief-

Went to visit you and take some flowers.  I edged and cleaned your marker.  Your name plate has not been added yet - the gal said she would call me.  The flower vase belongs to the person below - but I washed it & used the vase and said thank you for sharing your vase. 

This was a very different visit because I did all the talking and shedding tears.

Sure do miss you.  The pictures in your photo gallery are beautiful and I look at you and see so much love and happiness.

Been thinking about you lots.  I planted real flowers in the ceramic planters you gave me. You had the artificial flowers at your front door.  I planted impatients & celosias to add a little class at the front door.  When we enter the porch area - big sighs of gratitude to you.  Sure do miss you My Friend.

The weather people are calling for thunder
showers this afternoon- we need any rain we can get - I will just think you sent blessings from heaven.  Smile and know you are thought of and truly missed.

You graciously left and continued on your journey while we were traveling.  Not a day went by without you in our thoughts and hearts. Cooking in the motor home with your pots and pans and items you gave made our home like yours. Very Warm. Smiles and thank you for your generosity. So you see my friend you spiritually took the trip with us. 

I was getting ready to send you a card letting you know about our trip.  We were in an area where cell phone services were not great.  Kept checking and when service was available listened to voicemail.  Not sure when the call came but Jan left me a message - listened to it a couple times before calling back.

My Dear Friend - Independent Friend - We will forever be thankful you came into our lives.  We will miss you.  I will miss our talks.  I will miss your smiles.  And yes......you did it your way.....

We Love you and will Remember you always.  Hugs and kisses.
