So glad I saved the voicemail I received from you a few years back on my birthday, as I still get to hear your voice when I need to & her those special words everyone loves to hear, which I hope you hear every time I say them to you, which are "I LOVE YOU" forever & ever!

Happy New Year Mom!  I sure missed you a whole bunch these past holidays!  With a whole lot of memories on how you made them extra special with the things you did.  No home made ferry food , marshmellow treats or your famous fudge for us here in Nevada this year.  Though I marveled at your talent as I brought out the many decorations you made & gave out over the years to all of us, I now cherish them so much more. Missed talking to you on Christmas day, loved remembering the chaos when we would all try to get in the news of the year past on our Christmas call. You were with us in spirit, every loving touch, every knowing smile, every teary eye, was part of what you gave as a legacy to love & cherish. It's been 2 months since your passing & your birthday is in 2 days, so I've been thinking about all the memories we made as a family. Mom you were the glue in our long distance family & we all really miss you. Thinking of you daily & trying to help our family heal. Love you.

Aunt Pat will be greatly missed by all of us here in Indiana.  We are so glad we saw you in Racine last year, bringing back all the great memories and love from past years of lots of time together.  Aunt Pat was certainly special to us all and set a challenge for all of us to live life to the fullest!  We'll miss her but know she is now with others who have gone before her.  Imagine the hugs and laughter they are sharing and remember she, with them, is watching over us.

When I think of my mom, I think of all the happy moments shared, the times we talked, the hugs I received, the "I know you can do it sweetheart." mom would say to me. I will miss you but I know you are watching over us all and saying, " I know you can do it sweetheart."
