

Randall (Randy) Gilbert Van Dinter passed away March 2, 2026. He was 70 years old. Randy was born in Appleton, WI and grew up in Millston, WI.
In July 1976, Randy enlisted in the United States Air Force until July 1980. He was stationed at Patrick AFS, Florida. Randy's trade was in cable maintenance and he retired from Centurylink in 2015. Then Randy went to work part time at Lowe's with his extra time.
Randy is survived by his wife Charlene Van Dinter of 36 years. He leaves his children: Heather Burkhalter, Anthony Van Dinter, Lisa Eoff, Cyndi Onorato and Deanna Clark. Randy was the eldest of five children. Randy also leaves behind his three sisters, Renee and her husband Tim Flynn, Roxane Santiago, Rhonda Van Dinter, and his brother, Robert Van Dinter. He also had three son-in-laws, Troy Burkhalter, Carmine Onorato and Robert Eoff. Randy has 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Randy also had 3 sister-in-laws, Rosemarie Peterson, Denise Rodriguez and husband Moses, and Kristy Kerivan. He was preceded in death by his parents: Gilbert Van Dinter (father), Shirley Benoit (mother), and his daughter Laurie Van Dinter-Fox.
Randy was a cheesehead and has a Green Bay Packer "man cave". He enjoyed going to the casino and playing keno with his wife. Randy loved fishing and was getting ready to move to Montana this year. Randy was loved by all, and will leave behind many friends. He was the social butterfly of the neighborhood. Randy was also a great cook, also made the best popcorn and cheesecake in the world!
Randy was strong, giving, and had a heart of gold. He truly will be missed. We love you Randy, my "Knight and Shining Armor".
