

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Robert Emmett Collins, 87, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2023, at the Southern Nevada State Veterans Home in Boulder City, Nevada after battling Alzheimer’s Disease. He was born on July 8, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Thomas Edison High School and joined the U.S. Air Force. He met Judith Becerra in Laredo, Texas and they were married on September 27, 1958. Robert worked all over the world as an airplane mechanic with the U.S. Air Force for 25 years. He was stationed in Illinois, Texas, Japan, Minnesota, England, Vietnam, Germany, and California. After retirement he worked as a Parks Department Supervisor for Clark County Parks and Recreation for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Layette Crumley; father, Alfred Collins; his wife, Judith Collins; and his three brothers and three sisters. Robert is survived by Robert Collins II, son; Darlene Collins, daughter; Paul Collins, son; Jerry Collins, son; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 10:40am at:
