He was born in Axtell, Utah in 1937 to Warren Asel and Eva Ireland. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Bob graduated from Delta High School in 1955. He married Ferrel Wilden in 1961. Together they raised 2 daughters, Jennifer Ireland-Kirk and Kimberly Ireland. They have one grandchild, Shalimar. Ferrel died of cancer in 1986 after 25 years of marriage.
Bob was in the vending machine business in Las Vegas when he met and married Sibyl Ireland in the nineties.
His hobbies were traveling, hunting, fishing and cooking. His specialty was peanut brittle candy. He had a good time making it and sharing it with family and friends. His had a quick sense of humor and enjoyed telling stories.
The family would like to extend a grateful thank you to Enhabit Hospice that offered compassionate care and assistance in his final days.

A graveside service was held at Palm Henderson Cemetery on February 2, 2023.
