Bob was born in Minneapolis, MN and attended Macalester College. He met his wife, Julie in January of 1986 and they married in February. He served in the Army in Vietnam. Most of his adult career was spent with the USPS at the Data Center in Minneapolis. After his retirement they moved to Henderson, NV to get away from the cold. He enjoyed woodworking, reading , gambling, movies but most of all just time at home.
He is survived by his wife Julie, daughters Susan (Tom) Holmquist, Michele Mikeworth (Mark Yount), Grandchildren Serina, Kendra (Josh Wilson), Robert (Caitlin) Drake, Karsten Mikeworth. Great grandchildren Brandon and Jesse Wilson and Axel and Kroy Drake. Brothers Bruce(Pam) Mikeworth and Michael (Elizabeth) Mikeworth., nieces and nephews.
A memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the Steeple Center Assembly Hall located at 13885 South Robert Trail, Rosemount, MN 55068 from 2:30 until 4:00. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome and invited to share their memories.
