Ronald J. Tate, age 79, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025. He was born on February 26, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Leola Titus Tate and John Tate. Ronald graduated from Hanley Tech High School prior to enlisting in the US Army.
Ronald served honorably in the US Army, obtaining the rank of Sergeant, earning the National Defense Service Medal, Expert Rifle Badge, and a Parachutist Badge.
Following his honorable discharge from active duty, Ronald continued his education, obtaining his Associate of Arts Degree from Forest Park College. He would then begin his career in Information Technology. Throughout his career, Ronald worked for Singer, TRW and Seimans as a Senior Technician Specialist.
On September 8, 1985, Ronald would marry the love of his life, Emma Lambert, at the Chapel of the Roses in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together the two would blend their lives and families and embarq on a Journey that would span for the next 40 years.
Ronald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He enjoyed reading, investing, gardening, and grilling. He lived his life to the fullest and will truly be missed.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Emma Tate; his daughter, Yvette Robinson (Charles); his son, Kevin Tate; his sister, Mona Tate; his grandchildren: Joshua and Taylor Robinson, and his nephews and nieces: Rodney Tate, Felicia Tate and Terel Tate. he was preceded in death by his father, John Tate; his mother, Leola Titus Tate; and his sisters: Cheryl and Gloria Tate.
Ronald will be laid to rest with military honors on Monday, October 20, 2025 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive in Boulder City, Nevada.
