Samuel Robert Medina

Samuel was born on October 03,1941, in Chama, New Mexico.

He graduated from Chama High School and he married Susie M. Martinez, on October 24, 1963.

Samuel had a career as a meat cutter/ butcher for Albertsons and has been retired for 30 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and had a passion for hunting, fishing, and being outdoors and spending time with his family. He spent many years at Morrell park, bird watching and catching up with friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and nine of his brothers and sisters, and his son Christopher Medina.

He is survived by his wife Susie M. Medina, his three sons, Samuel Medina Jr. (Kim), Mark Medina, and Gilbert Medina (Stacey); whos wives he regarded as daughters. He leaves behind ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren all of whom were his pride and joy.

A visitation for Samuel will be held Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Henderson, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Funeral service will occur Monday, July 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 204 S Boulder Hwy, Henderson, NV 89015, graveside service to follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary & Cemetery, 800 S Boulder Hwy, Henderson, NV 89015. Reception to follow immediately after the burial at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 204 S Boulder Hwy, Henderson, NV 89015.
