Sandra Joyce Casey

Sandra Joyce Casey, 73, a 26 year resident of Henderson, Nevada passed away at St. Rose Dominican Sienna Hospital September 15, 2016. Sandra was born on November 25, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Medford, Massachusetts by her parents Simon and Leona. In 1960 she finished high school at Medford High and went on to marry William Casey on December 7th, 1967. She then started a family, having a total of three children. Sandy worked in banking until she retired in 2004. As a child her favorite thing was fishing with her father and playing sports activities with her friends. As she got older she enjoyed playing tennis and her all time two favorite things she absolutely loved was going to the beach and horses. Sandy also loved the fall and spring for watching football and baseball. Sandy was a devoted diehard fan of the New England Patriots and The Boston Red Sox. Sandy is survived by her husband, William J. Casey II, daughters Shereen Casey, Jennifer DeConinck and son in-law Jack DeConinck, Sisters Derrill Czarnionka Kinman, Jenny Henegan, Brothers Jonathan Kennard, Robert Kennard, five grandchildren Billy, Michael, Jeffrey, Katelyn and Breanna, and Cousin Shirley Czarnoinka Drouin. She was preceeded in death by her son William J Casey III, sister Susan Czarnioinka, brother Larry Czarnionka and cousin Kathy Clifford. Services will be held September 30th, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary at 800 S. Boulder Highway Henderson, Nevada 89015. Sandy was the most selfless, hard worker and a true friend to everyone and an amazing wife and mother.
