She was born on October 25, 1945, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where her story began—a story marked by strength, kindness, and unwavering love. Later in life, she made her home in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she built lasting friendships and created countless cherished memories with those she loved.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose warmth, guidance, and compassion shaped the lives of her family in immeasurable ways. Her presence brought comfort, her laughter brought joy, and her wisdom will continue to guide us even in her absence.
She found happiness in life’s simple moments—time spent with family and friends, sharing stories, and offering a listening ear or a helping hand to anyone in need. Her artistic and talented ability to make, as well as teach, ceramics was her passion. It gave her joy to make stunning pieces, fix pieces for others, and to teach students her gift. Through her generous spirit and gentle heart she touched all who knew her.
She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She is survived by her brother Leonard, her daughter Leissa, and sons Seth, Jerry Jr. and Tony, her grandchildren Veronica, Sophia, Shane, D.J.,Luciano, Jacob, Sierra, and Grace. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will remain a source of strength and inspiration.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
