

survived by his loving wife, Joyce Singer, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Sonny was born on May 13th, 1926 in Denver, CO.
Sonny enlisted in the Army after high school and served our country during WWII in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. Sonny was in the 27th Infantry Division in Saipan. After Saipan, Sonny was a part of the invasion of Okinawa. After leaving Okinawa, he was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division in Tokyo. Sonny didn't have enough credits to return the the United States so he was assigned to Northern Akiota to earn credits to return home. He was honorably discharged in 1946.
After his service, he returned to Denver and operated numerous restaurants,bars and warehouses.
Sonny relocated to Las Vegas and continued his warehouse businesses.
When that chapter closed, he drove limousines for various wedding chapels on the Las Vegas Strip.
Sonny will be remembered as an avid poker player and enjoyed his all night games at different casinos.
Sonny was proceeded in death by his parents, daughter and infant son.
The viewing will be held Thursday, Sept 12th from 1:00 pm- 4:00 pm at Palm Mortuary, 800 S Boulder Hwy, Henderson NV.
Sonny will be laid to rest Friday Sept 13th at 10:40 am at the Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City NV with full Military Honors.
