William Drue Griffith, age 82, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020. William was born June 16, 1937 in Texas to his parents Clyde Griffith and Bertha Stephens. He met and married Lanis Lorraine on December 31,1955.
William had a passion for music and guitar that he passed down to his children and grandchildren. He wrote songs of his own and had a band for a number of years.
William was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 49 years, Lanis; children: Penni Griffith- Wittwer (William) and William Drue Griffith Jr. (Kim); 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Friday, June 19, 2020 at Palm Henderson Cemetery, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015.
