Lidia E. Natal was born in Colonia 21, Tegucigalpa, Honduras on October 18, 1938 to parents Rafael and Eloisa. On Friday, December 1, 2023, Lidia passed away in Miami, Florida while surrounded by her loving Family.
When asked about Lidia, her family remembers her as a hard worker who did not fold under pressure. As a child in Honduras, Lidia came from very humble beginnings. Her parents passed away when she was 10 years old, causing her to start work at a young age to help take care of her family. These responsibilities would help mold her into a strong woman who knew the value of family and hard work.
Lidia was well known for her green thumb and her amazing plants and trees. She also knew her way around the kitchen quite well, especially when it came to baking desserts and making her very popular Nacatamales. Even though she was a lady of few words, she enjoyed music and she loved to dance. Lidia loved animals and Christmas as this was her favorite time of the year.
Lidia was the matriarch of her family and she is missed greatly by those she leaves behind, especially her 3 children: Luz, Carmen and Angel. Her niece, Belinda. Her 4 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren, her family & friends both here and back home in Honduras as well as her dog.
In honor of her Life, Love & Legacy, a Visitation for Lidia will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 11:00 P.M. at Caballero Rivero Hialeah Funeral Home, 373 West 9 Street, Hialeah, Florida, 33010. Lidia will be laid to rest on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 11:30 A.M. at Caballero Rivero Dade South Cemetery, 14200 S.W. 117 Avenue, Miami, Florida, 33186.
