Maria is survived by her beloved son Alan Vega, her sister Haydee Van Brakel, brother-in-law John Van Brakel Sr., nephew John Van Brakel, niece Heidi Ramos, and a host of extended family and friends who cherished her dearly. A visitation for Maria will be held Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 6:00 PM till midnight at Caballero Rivero Hialeah, 373 W 9 Street, Hialeah, FL 33010. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 12th, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4497 W 1st Ave, Hialeah, FL 33012. Commital service will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, 11411 NW 25th St, Doral, FL 33172.

Su velorio sera el domingo, 11 de agosto, desde las 6 p.m. hasta la media noche en Caballero Rivero Hialeah, 373 W 9 Street, Hialeah, FL 33010. Se celebrara una misa con cuerpo presente el lunes, 12 de agosto, a las 10 a.m. en Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4497 W 1st Ave, Hialeah, FL 33012. Siguiente de su misa se le dara santa sepultura en Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, 11411 NW 25 Street, Doral, Fl 33172.
