

Agnes was born October 24, 1929 in Burke Co. to the late John F. and Delphia Lail Stilwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 infant sons, Jimmy and John Stephens 2 granddaughters, Brooke and Tammy Stephens and a brother, Conley Stilwell
She was a member of Healing Springs Church for 23 Years and retired from the hosiery industry.
Surviving are her husband, Hosea Stephens of the home, sons; David Stephens of Spruce Pine, Hal Stephens and wife Teresa of Lenoir and Clay Stephens and wife Lavone of Vale and a daughter, Kay Deal and husband Jimmie of Valdese, grandchildren; Cindy Brittain, Wade Stephens, David Lee Stephens, Dana Corpening, Brandy Huffman, Dusty Stephens, Jenny St. Clair, Loretta Stephens, Samatha Stephens, Jamie and Justin Deal, 12 great grandchildren, sisters; Flavie Houston and Reda Shook both of Icard, brothers; L. A. Stilwell of Bethlehem and Forrest Stilwell of Hickory and number of nieces and nephews. and her faithful dog, Biscuit
Services will be Wednesday, April 28, at 2:00 P. M. at the Royal Chapel Church of God with the Reverends Brad H. Spencer and Derek Bradshaw officiating.
Burial will follow in the Royal Chapel Church of God cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 until 1:45 P. M. at the church.
At other times the family will be at the residence of Kay Deal of Valdese.
