Alice Jane Harden

Alice Jane Show Harden, 83, of Granite Falls, NC, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Shaire Center in Lenoir, NC. Born on January 21, 1934 in Uniontown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold Show and Flora Herrington Show. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Granite Falls. Mrs. Harden is survived by her husband of 30 years, John Harden; daughters, Shelley (Keith) Moretz, step daughter, Jennifer (Carroll) Bradshaw and Katie (Brian) Elliott; sons, David (Martha) Dunmyre, Dale (Colleen) Dunmyre, step son, Stanley Harden; grandchildren, Bethany, Jonathan, Robert Dunmyre, Natalie (Daniel) Cadle, Kyle (Marie) Moretz, Haley Moretz, Nicholas Gantt, Noah Bradshaw, Alyvia and Alysia Elliott; great grandchildren, Carter, Avery and Maddox Cadle, Karigan and Kadence Moretz; brother, Francis (Ellen) Show. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, October 30, 2017 at Catawba Memorial Park with Reverend Scott Bollinger officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park. The visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00 to 2:45 pm. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at 225 N Michigan Ave Fl. 17 Chicago, IL 60601.
