Angela Joan Jimison

Angela Joan Jimison, 47 of Hickory went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 2, 2015. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Catawba Memorial Park, Funerals and Cremations with Pastor Jonathan Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors Monday, January 5 from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.

Angela was born on January 16, 1967 in Hickory to Garrett and Geneva Beasley Jimison and lived in Catawba County her entire life. She attended Woodlawn Baptist Church in Conover and attended the Adult Life Program in Hickory. Angela was very creative and loved doing art projects. She was loved by all who knew her and was the light of her family’s life.

Angela is survived by her sisters, Nancy Jimison of Hickory and Mary J. Haynes and husband Carl of North Tazewell, Va; brothers, David Jimison and wife Mary-Jean of Hickory, John Jimison and wife Margaret of Taylorsville and James Jimison and wife Diana of Hickory; uncle, Joe Beasley and wife Pat of Garden City, SC.; nieces, Michelle, Techara, Ashley,Chasity and Kayla; nephews, Tony, Devin, David Jr., Christopher and Joseph and many grand nieces and nephews.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents Garrett and Geneva Jimison. Memorial contributions may be made to the Adult Life Program, 1265 21st St., NE #A, Hickory. Condolences for the family may be left at www.catawbamemorialpark.com.
