Atta Lee Robbins

Hildebran – Atta Lee Hefner Robbins, 92 of Hildebran went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Cambridge House.

Born on September 15, 1931 in Catawba County, NC, Atta was the daughter of the late Howard and Wilma Irene Starnes Hefner. She always loved the outdoors, camping and gardening with her husband. Atta was also an avid Atlanta Braves fan. She was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, George Ralph Robbins; a granddaughter, Della Whisnant; 2 brothers, Jim Hefner and Jake Hefner, as well as, 2 sisters, Shirley Huffman and Betty Lingerfelt.

Those left to cherish her memory include, a son, Curtis Robbins and wife, Barbara; 4 granddaughters, Kim Shupe, Monica Holsclaw and husband, Tony, Kathy Throneburg and husband, Jimmy and Windy Hammond and husband, Nathan. Atta is also survived by, 13 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Tim Hertzel officiating. Burial will follow the service at Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
