Morganton - Barbara Sue Farr, 72 of Morganton went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 3, 2022 at UNC Health Blueridge in Morganton surrounded by her family.
Born on August 27, 1949 in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Basil and Alma Marie Hartman Huffman.
In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her first husband of 21 years, David Lee Cline, Sr and her second husband of 10 years, Thomas Edward Farr and a great grandson, Oliver Cline.
She is survived by 5 children, Vickie Abee and husband, Danny, David Cline, Jr and wife, Dora, Karen Frasure, Donnie Lail and wife Lisa and Ronnie Lail and wife, Sheila; 11 grandchildren, Brittany, Tyler, Justin, Tessa, Haley, Marah, Megan and Darren, Dalton, Robert and Summer; 6 great grandchildren, Brentlee, Tailynn, Logan, Emma Sue, Elliot, Madison, and Ethan, as well as, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11:00 am at Catawba Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Grigg officiating. Burial will follow the service at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation in Barbara’s name.
