Betsy Dawn Lewis

She was born on December 14, 1972, to the late Vernon Lewis and Barbara Hawn Lewis in Catawba County. Betsy was a graduate of Hickory High School and later UNC Charlotte obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She was an employee of Hickory Chair for 12 years. Betsy loved the beach and life in general. Her bright light and kind heart will be deeply missed. Betsy’s great joy in life was her two sons, Alec and Nicholas, she loved her family dearly. She was also a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Lewis.

Survivors include her two sons; Alec and Nicholas Hudler, and the father of her sons and lifelong friend, Kevin Hudler.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. at the church. Pastor Mark Seaman will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
