Beverly Ann Rector

Beverly Ann Carico Rector, age 67, of Taylorsville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born October 27, 1950 in Alleghany County, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Hoyt Carico and Wreatha Pauline Shaw Carico.

Ann was employed for 36 years in the Catawba County School System as a data manager. She was a member of Catawba County Assn. of Educational Office Professionals and the NC Assn. of Educational Office Professionals. Her special achievement was flight-1992 Lake Hickory Country Club stroke play championship at the Catawba Springs course.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 51 years, Harry Rector of Taylorsville; sons, Curtis Rector of Conover and Christopher Rector of Stony Point; granddaughter, Morgan Rector, currently attending NC State University in Raleigh; brothers, Mike Carico and wife Vickie and Rev. Mark Carico and wife Debbie, both of Ennice, NC; sister, Shelby Carico and husband Lehman of Fries, VA.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1.00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory with Rev. Mark Carico officiating.
