Bobby Milton Wright

GRANITE FALLS - Bobby Milton Wright, 69, passed away March 5, 2014 at Caldwell Hospice after a brief illness. Bobby was born May 6, 1944 in Cleveland Co. to the late Jessie Hardin and Flossie Willis Wright. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Faye Poteat. He was employed at Bruards Furniture. Surviving are his wife of 45 1/2 yrs, Joyce Church Wright of the home; daughters, Markieta Lowdermilk and husband, Chris of Hudson and Tammy Juanita Wright of Granite Falls; grandchildren, Chelsea Lowdermilk, Jessica Lowdermilk, Tabby Piercy and Bobby Holsclaw; great grandson, Thomas Piercy; sisters, Pam Reitzel of Hickory and Brenda Hollar of Claremont; brothers, Donald Wright of Hickory, Mike Wright of Statesville, Jackie Wright of Conover and Ricky Wright of Granite Falls. Services will be Sunday, March 9, 2014, at 3:00 P. M.at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Parsons, Rev. Scott Huffman and Rev. Eric Hollar officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:45 until 2:45 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home. Condolences may be made online at www.hickoryfh.com.
