Bonnie was born March 11, 1943 in Buncombe Co. to the late Ernest and Edna Hughes Capps. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Simmons.
She was a member of Winkler’s Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughters; Candy Propst of Hickory and Penny Clonch of Statesville; her son, Todd Simmons of Vale; grandsons, Chad Vaughan of Newton, Storme Goforth of Lincolnton and Tanner Simmons of Newton; brother, Jack Capps and wife, Shirley of Atlanta, GA; sister, Betty Randall of Jacksonville, FL. 3 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Saturday, January 26, at 12:00 noon at Winkler’s Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Faulkenbury officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:30 AM until 12:00 noon at Winkler’s Grove Baptist Church.
