Brenda Fagan Hux

NEWTON---Brenda Fagan Hux, 73, went to be with her Lord on March 18, 2016. Brenda was born April 25, 1942 in Catawba Co. to the late Henry Marion Fagan and Helen Christine Hallman Fagan Good. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Marcus Christopher Hux; an infant daughter, Lisa Yvette Hux and an infant great-grandson, Keelan Hux. Brenda was of the Catholic faith and a homemaker. Surviving is her husband, Dory Hux; daughters, Tommie Hux Swank and her husband, Doug and Alisa Hux Isenhower; son, Dory Brendan “Chip” Hux and his wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Marcus Hux, Brenden Isenhower, Breanna Hux, Dory Braylan Hux and Landon Hux; great-granddaughter, Ava Jade Hux; her brothers Leon Fagan and his wife Betty, Larry “Bub” Fagan and his wife Margie and Michael Good. Services will be Monday, March 21, at 3:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Sheridan officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home following the service.
